Needing Donations...get ready crafty people!

Brandi is an amazing woman.
Her husband, just as amazing.
Together, they have endured the
stillbirths of 3 children, &
one early miscarriage.

They are only 26.
What a tender age to experience
something so devastating.
No one deserves to be dealt
that kind of pain.

NO ONE.

I'm banning together w/ some other crafters.
We are going to create an Etsy shop
& sell some yummy things
to help offset the cost of the funeral.

Yes, a funeral.
What mother should bury their child.
The 3rd one?

So, if you are crafty & willing to
sew something,
knit something,
crochet something,
hair bow something,
paint something,
or any other "something",
then please contact me.

You don't even need to ship it to me.
Just take pictures that I can use in Etsy.
When someone purchases it,
you ship it directly.

The money will go directly to Brandi & David,
for Evan's funeral.

My heart aches for them.
God Bless you all!

How long will you be doing this? I may try to make a birthday banner like the one I made for Matthew's birthday. I've seen them sold on etsy. I just have to get a few more things for it, make a few changes I'm not sure on yet and find the time to do it!

Astrid, what an amazing thing you are doing for your friend. I have been there with burying 2 babies that were born at 22 weeks and died from prematurity due to Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. Jeremy and I had gone to Florida to have what we hoped would be life saving pre-natal surgery for our babies that worked, but unfortunately didn't stop labor. I developed pulmonary edema and had to spend extra time in the hospital. I can say from experience that it is heartbreaking to pay for a baby's funeral and then the medical expenses associated from the baby's pregnancy on top of that. Your friend may not realize now or fully appreciate now what you are doing for her just because of the shock of everything but she will. What you are doing is amazing...really amazing.

Christi, your story sounds very familiar in the sense that Brandi is now dealing w/ pneumonia & a partially collapsed lung. I can't imagine having to go through what you went through. Thank you for sharing!

Love,
AStrid
