Ok, it is official. I am down to 3/day. I dropped the 2:30pm session on Saturday. It is so weird to not pump at that time. I take the kids downstairs to play & it is such a wonderful change of environment. The kids also have the whole living room to crawl around in which is MUCH bigger than their playroom. I can also fold laundry or sweep or work on diaper cakes since I can be in the same room & do those things.
The kids' adjusted well to daylight savings time. We didn't do it gradually this time around. Ok, let me tell the truth...I didn't KNOW about DST until Thursday so I couldn't gradually change their schedule. What we did is put them to bed 30 min early on Saturday & I woke them up at 6:45 (although it was really like 5:45 for them) on Sunday. By the end of the day, the babes were tired & all fell asleep on the evening walk. I don't blame them. Every time they finally settled in for a nap, I had to go in there & wake them up so we could stay on track. Thankfully we haven't had much of any crankiness!
Here is what the kids have been doing as of late...DOG PILE!!!!!
The girls are hamming it up in this picture. As soon as they see the camera, they are all smiles!
I couldn't resist taking this picture & sharing it. Gabi literally surrounded herself in every blankie in the playroom. She sat in this pile for a good 45 minutes!

You've heard of push presents right?

Maybe it's time you starting thinking about a nice 'pump' present for yourself :)
Ah yes...push presents. I didn't get one b/c I didn't push, LOL! I do know exactly what I want for a "pump" present, a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 BUT that ain't gonna happen for a while so I'll have to settle for the feeling of accomplishment!
Gabi has it all figured out. I mean, who wouldn't want to be completely surrounded by big, comfy blankets?? Sounds great to me! :-)
Oh yes, there are mornings I don't want to get out from under my pile of blankies. Must run in the family! Todd is a total blankie man!
Astrid, I have said it before and I'll say it again... you are amazing. You must think I'm some kind of stalker freakshow or something, but you just blow me away every time I read your blog. You are DOWN TO 3 pumping sessions a day!?!? OMG, by the time you're done pumping you are going to be saving yourself hours a day in which you can fill doing something else amazing besides blogging, diaper cakes, being crafty, making your own baby food, or being a wonderful mom. Kudos to you, girl. I don't know if you hear it enough day-to-day so I thought I'd tell you. I'm still totally jealous. If it wasn't for Lexapro I'd be a complete couch potato, and even now I don't have time for much more than that once the kids are in bed and I need to unwind. Just wow...
someone on triplet connection told me you were very successful at nursing and suggested I contact you. My threesome are coming in the next couple weeks and I would like to nurse. My question is if you are alone how do you pick 2 babies up at once to nurse? Is there some trick? Then what do you with the 3rd we want to get them on the same schedule. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. You are so crafty your work is beautiful. Thanks, Lisa
