Today is the big day...the triplets birthday!

Yep, the journey is coming to an end. Here I sit, waiting to leave for the hospital. I have been emotional wreck all morning long, having cried several times. There are so many thoughts going through my head. I am nervous, scared of the hospital. I am nervous about the babies being ok. I am scared about the c-section but most of all, I am anxious to see my babies. I can't believe that we are only hours away from meeting them.

We have so many family & friends that have supported us through all this. Thank you so much for all your thoughts & prayers. We could not have made it this far without them.

The next time I post, it will be to announce the birth of our babies. WOW!

You are the first thing I thought about when I woke up this morning. I am so excited for you and your hubby and the new family that is coming today.

My thoughts and prayers are with you today as you begin the journey of parenthood. Best of luck and can't wait to read your next blog.

I stumbled onto your blog through a friend's blog. I have been reading for a couple of weeks. Like an earlier post, I haven't been able to think about anything else except you and your family. I am so excited for you and can't wait to see pictures! You have been in my thoughts and definitely in my prayers all day long.

my first thought this morning on waking was "Astrid is having the babies today!" - and then I text my Mum and told her LOL... You, DH, Gabi, Sofi & Ian are in my thoughts right this second, and will continue to be so!

Lots of love from Christchurch, New Zealand
