Pimpin' our Triple Decker!

What happens when kids grow out of the infant carseats that so easily lock right in to place on the Triple Decker's frame? Bell bicycle seats & a total makeover! For those of you that have the beloved Triple Decker & think that it is useless beyond the 1st year, let me tell you differently! It is fantastic to have the new seats, making the whole thing much lighter. The kids can see everything from their seats now that there isn't the side of the seat blocking their view making them have to strain to see out. FREEDOM!

I have to say that I wasn't impressed when the stroller just had the seats. They are a bit too short for my liking. See the picture? The kids go way past the top of the seat & it is not very pretty.

Karen, another wonderful triplet mommy who happens to be extremely crafty & innovative, came up w/ headrest extentions, seat covers & a canopy. Abuelo's b-day present, purchasing all the above! I went w/ a neutral pattern (it is a bit bright but I like it) & was so excited to receive it on Tuesday that I put everything together that night! We went walking yesterday evening & got quite a bit of stares & stops to comment on our pimped out stroller!

THe kids absolutely loved the walk! So much so that 2 of them fell asleep, LOL. Probably had something to do w/ playing instead of napping. I am happy to say that they were comfy while sleeping. Gabi was our sole survivor & really was enjoying the new view. So, if there was any doubt about converting it to a toddler stroller, do not doubt anymore!

Thank you Karen! For all of you Triple Decker fans, check out her Etsy store!

The good thing about it is that everyone knows us in our subdivision so we don't really get harrassed. When we go out, I probably will not use the canopy unless we go to the zoo or an all day event!

Great stroller modifications! Do the kids always go in the same spot ie. for the routine of it, or do you move them around for the different view..? Just curious!

Merran ~ We move them! Gabi was in the front yesterday. We like them all to get the front seat & some direct sunlight on those little legs for Vit D! Thanks for asking!

Did you buy those bike seats from tripledecker or did you buy them else where and rig them to the frame?

thank you so much for posting these pictures. We have 7 month old triplets and I love my triple decker but was not sure if I would be able to use it for much longer.
Do the seats recline? Its hard to tell how the head rests work but I will take your word for it and get the covers and canopy as well! I cant wait!

I have the triple decker and I can’t figure out how to get our next stage seats to stay... any tips?
